BA, CA (Physical Education), CA (Health Science), MA (Kinesiology-in progress)
Although Brian has been a lifelong athlete in various sports, his lifestyle transition into holistic health began his senior year of high school. At Oregon State University, through his degree in exercise and sport science with a minor in psychology, Brian had the opportunity to start applying his knowledge on an interpersonal level. He was the strength and conditioning coach a local high school's track team, a coach at a local gymnastics gym, and finished his senior year as the head strength and conditioning coach for the Oregon State Cheerleading & Dance team.
After he completed his undergraduate degree, Brian moved back to northern California to complete his teaching credential in physical education and health science at Chico State University. While at Chico State, he was able to coach at a local youth cheerleading gym as well as assistant coach for the Chico State Cheerleading team.
Upon completion of his teaching credential, Brian chose to stay at Chico State University to complete a master's degree in kinesiology, with a focus on pedagogy (teaching practices) and sport psychology. During this time, Brian was chosen to instruct undergraduate courses for the kinesiology department, such as the beginning and intermediate weight training, and core strengthening.
In December of 2017, Brian was offered a full-time teaching position at Windsor High School, and currently teaches health and physical education.
