Stop hesitating and move past your fear of arm balances and inversions! Inspired Yoga is proud to bring you a three-workshop series focused on Balance and Inversion. Three of our Inspired teachers will help guide you from basic balance poses like tree to more advanced poses like crow, flying pigeon and much more!
The first workshop will focus on Basic Arm Balance which will help you build a solid foundation of physical strength and confidence, so you are ready to advance to more challenging poses.
We'll work closely with you on honing poses like Plank, Chathuranga, Crow, Side Crow, Eight Angle Pose and more. Learning these foundational poses property is essential preparation for more difficult postures and transitions. You'll learn how to engage the necessary muscles for a solid arm balance practice.
The Basic Arm Balance Workshop will focus on:
• Strength warm up to prepare the body
• Posture Theory to help you understand the pose and how it should feel when you enter it
• Having fun! Turn arm balances into part of your practice that you enjoy instead of shying away from
Advanced Arm Balances will focus on: angle pose, shoulder pressure pose, firefly
Inversion will focus on: headstand (supported and tri-pod), 4-arm balance, handstand
