Annie Mayer
SRJC Comprehensive Pilates Certificate · Callanetics Instructor · TRX Suspension Training Qualified
Annie Mayer’s passion for movement began in Argentina, where she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between movement, strength, and well-being that led her to discover Callanetics. As an instructor, she spent more than six years helping students build strength, flexibility, and body awareness before she moved on to pursue a career in hospitality as a trainer and educator.
Many years later, a severe injury brought Annie to Pilates. What began as a way to recover became something much more meaningful. She fell in love with Pilates and its ability to transform the way the body moves, feels, and functions. Inspired by her own recovery, Annie chose to return to well-being education, completing her comprehensive Pilates training, and integrating her experience and passion for movement into her teaching.
Having worked internationally across 5 continents, Annie brings a unique perspective and a love of connecting with people from different backgrounds. She integrates her varied experiences as a trainer into her newfound passion for Pilates, providing students a strong foundation to move with intention and confidence.
In Annie’s classes, you can expect thoughtful instruction, attention to proper alignment, and a good—and challenging—workout. She loves helping students find the correct positioning so they can move safely, effectively, and with greater awareness of their bodies.
Outside of teaching, Annie is an artist who is happiest with a creative project in her hands. She enjoys making beautiful things and finding time to relax and recharge.
For Annie, movement is both a passion and a way of life, and she loves sharing that passion with her students.
