What first brought you in to Inspired Fitness?

Six years ago, Jenn opened Inspired Fitness in a location near the Barlow. I nearly passed out after my first Spin Combo class. It was the first time I had done a serious workout in decades. Everyone scurried around and was very nice and supportive while I hyperventilated.

I quickly realized that (1) regular workouts would be good for postponing the part where I get old and sick and die, and (2) it would only work if I made it a habit. Soon after that, I started attending classes regularly and Inspired workouts began to seem natural.

Why have you stayed?

The schedule at Inspired Fitness is suited to our community and the workouts are personalized for every level of fitness. They are not competitive, which suits my introvert nature. I love Jenn and the other instructors. The atmosphere is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and Jenn's Jam (latte with oat milk and honey) is a tasty treat.

Over the years I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my health. I’m stronger and there isn’t much to talk about at medical checkups. I also notice that my memory has improved. How cool is that?

What’s your favorite part of Inspired?

Week in and week out, my favorite part is my afternoon nap after a boot camp, which is very satisfying.

And, I love Heather’s laugh!
